2021 CHARGE Conference

The Consortium for Hydrogen and Renewably Generated E-fuels (CHARGE) is a new effort to align industry, researchers, and government around decarbonizing our power grid, transportation, and technology sectors. Important Washington industries such as aviation, long-haul trucking, and marine shipping are difficult or impossible to electrify and will require fuels such as hydrogen and e-fuels. These fuels can also offer long-term and even seasonal energy storage options to the power grid as fossil fuels are progressively removed from the power makeup.
At CHARGE we recognize that the northwest region is uniquely positioned to lead in the hydrogen and e-fuels sector propelled by a clean power grid. This conference aims to bring together experts in business, manufacturing, utilities, research, government leaders, and the industries that will enable this technology.

Thought Leaders

Government, utilities, business, and researchers are all coming together to share their take on the future of hydrogen and renewably generated e-fuels.
